Data loss cannot be tolerated for more and more people nowadays especially enterprise users as for whom data means vital importance. Due to the limited PCB size, PLP function was only equipped to 2.5inch products in the past, however, to keep the data safe for more users, Terabit allocates Tantalum Capacitors on MSATA SSD as well and enhance the backup time to 30ms after sudden power loss. As the MSATA SSD has very small PCB, Terabit adopts mini-size Tantalum Capacitors up to 18 pieces and also special-designed power chips to detect the power supply all the time. Normally when sudden power loss, the SSD will lose operating data and FTL mapping information, which will also lead to more bad blocks. Unlike PLP function by software with high failure rates, on-board Tantalum Capacitors can support the drive to work for extra time and solve the data loss problem fundamentally, to be the most effective method to keep SSD in a good status after long term use.

    Terabit MSATA SSD with Tantalum Capacitors supports up to 512GB on 2D NAND MLC Flash and 128GB on NAND SLC Flash, 0~+70°C, -20~+70°C and -40~+85°C operating temperatures available.
