Terabit 2.5inch SATA MT300 and MT600 series have enhanced secure erase function, which can securely erase all data in super fast speed and make the SSD back into default setting. After erasing, the drive could be still used but the erased data could not be recovered by all ways. The erase function can be triggered by inputting a low currency into SSD through PIN13 by independent hardware button (press the button and keep this action for 2 seconds) and the erasing starts immediately, with easing speed up to 30GB/s (varies as per different platform). After erasing, the SSD will be reset into factory setting and it can be still used. Now secure erase function is becoming a must for military applications, and Terabit Secure Erase Technology has been adopted by several military customers domestically and internationally.
